First, I want to share with you my thoughts as your sponsor and what you can expect from a partnership with me and our team.

It takes a serious committed effort to make it in a home business and it can be done. If you are willing to make a commitment to your business, then I will commit to teach you everything I know. I promise to be here to coach, train and assist you in any way that I can to help you build a successful business from home. I won't do it for you, but I will be here and be available to work right along side of you. Together, we will work out a business plan that fits your needs.

What is your criteria for coaching me?

I spend my time with those who are serious about their business and are willing to follow what has been proven to work. I can only teach what I know. That is not to say there are not other ways or that you can't try new ideas. It is your business. But I can only advise you on methods that I know work because my team members and I have used them successfully.

What if I am in another program, should I quit and join you?

That really depends on your situation. If you are in a program that isn't taking off the way you'd expected, then we can talk about joining my business to see if it's a fit for you. I must tell you that I have found most people who divide their energies between two businesses have a harder time succeeding at either. I'm not saying it can't be done but it's difficult. My recommendation is to choose the one that is the best fit for you and commit to doing what it takes to succeed with it. Then consider branching out from there. Ultimately the decision is yours.

How much will it really cost me to get started?

Bare minimum is $49.95 plus shipping for your Basic Starter Package. This includes one 16 oz. Jar Candle in our best selling scent, 6 Votives, 1 natural cleansing bar, 1 Hand and Foot Lotion, 50 Catalogs, your own company website with online shopping, and access to all of our company and team's training and resources. You can retail this product for $57 recapturin your cost or enjoy the products yourself to see how they perform. Either way, you get to try the business on for size to see if it fits.

It is possible to get started with the basic Starter Pack and get your feet wet, however, there are other options that you should consider if you are looking to get off to a fast start. You'll find more info on the available starter kits on my company website

You'll also want to budget approximately another $50 your first month for business cards, product contact labels, business opportunity brochures (included in our Fast Start Pack) and any other miscellaneous expenses to get set up and going.

Beyond that your expenses determine on how you decide to build your business. Let's talk about what you're thinking and I can give you an idea of costs for things like online marketing, advertising, etc.

How much money can I make?

That depends on you entirely and what aspects of the business (retailing, fundraising, or team-building) you want to focus on. My first month I had very little time to devote to my business and still made enough to pay my car payment just by sharing the product with friends and family. When I realized what I made with minimal time and effort, I got really excited about what I would be able to do with more effort!

The important thing to know is that what you earn will be based on your own efforts. We will customize a business plan that works for you and your interests, strengths and goals.

We have people who join just to be able to buy our products at wholesale prices. We have distributors earning six figure incomes and we have people earning everything in between. How much do you want to earn?

How soon will I make money?

Again, this depends on you. Many people make money their very first day by just calling a few friends and letting them simply smell the candles. This is where your Fast Start Pack or Sampler Pack is SO important. They provide all the tools you need and the product to allow you to sell on the spot. If you are coachable, I will teach you how to retail, set up a few fundraisers and begin to sponsor others your very first month if that's what you desire.

The question really is "How much do you want to make your first month?"

How do I build my business?

I have a system that will work for anyone - the part-timer, full-timer, those who love to recruit others and those who don't.

The key to building your business is to find what works best for you, put your nose to the grindstone and focus forward. My coaching will teach you how to find what will work for you.

Personally, I focus on all three areas for maximum profits. I retail the candles, do fundraisers, and I recruit others and help them get started in their business.

Retailing can be done through - friends, family, co-workers, open houses, home parties, craft shows and boutiques, county fairs and street fairs, business expos, while out and about in the normal course of your day, etc.

Fundraisers - sports teams, school PTO's, church groups, youth groups, dance studios, school bands, boy/girl scouts, etc. are all looking for new and unique ways to earn funds for their organizations.

Sponsoring Others - I will teach you how to sponsor people that come to you and are ready to start a business. You'll be able to share the same training program and resources that you'll use to help them get started and grow their business.

How do I find people to talk to about the business opportunity?

People who will be interested in your business are everywhere. You will find some people who express and interest through your retailing and fundraising efforts and you'll find some through referrals. I prefer to work only with people who are interested and come to me. I primarily work with people who find me online and express an interest in learning more about my business by requesting additional information or contacting me to ask questions. If you are interested, I will teach you a system for developing a presence online with a personal website much like this one.

Will you teach me how to build my business online?

YES! That's one of my favorite parts of the business! To ensure your online success, you must complete the first steps of building your business which is sharing the product with others (retail and fundraising).

Building your MLM business online requires a personal website which you can easily do yourself and we have some other options that you can consider when you are ready. It will require an investment of your time and some money. If building an internet business interests you than let me know and we can talk about what's involved and what you can expect in terms of costs.

What if I only have 10 hours a week to work my business?

It's not quantity of time that matters, it's quality of time. Reading email, reading books building your website or going through training materials seem like business time, but it won't produce one cent for you. As long as you are willing to make that 10 hours productive time, spending it on income-producing activities, you can have a successful business. I'll teach you how to do that!

I don't want to talk to people I know, can I still be successful with this business?

Yes, you can. I encourage you to at least let your friends, family and others know about your new business and let them smell the candles. You do not have to tell them about the business side or even ask them to buy anything. Simply tell them what you are doing and ask if they have any ideas.

Personally, I share the products with my friends and family, but only talk to them about the business if they come to me and ask. They are all well aware of my business and that I help people start their own home businesses.

My spouse does not support me, can I still build a successful business?

Yes, in most cases. If your spouse is adamantly opposed to your business, you may want to really think things through. However, if your spouse is just skeptical and does not want any personal involvement, that's okay. It will be important that you make good use of your available time and resources and keep your "why" for doing this business planted firmly in front of you.

Speak to your spouse and simply ask him/her to please support you to the extent that he/she will respect your decision, does not belittle you, and then set up some guidelines that you are both comfortable with for business hours, etc. Then make sure you respect these guidelines.

Make it a point to earn a profit as quickly as possible and keep it growing. This usually changes the spouse from skeptical, to okay, to down right excited about your business!

I have been in Network Marketing before and have not had success. Why will this program work for me?

I can't promise you that it will work for you, but I do know about the commitment I will make to you.

First, I would ask you to look at the reasons you believe were the cause of your previous lack of success? What will you do differently? How committed are you to achieving what you say you want? Are you coachable? Are you willing to work closely with me and follow a system for success?

If you get clear on what you do want, let go of the past, and focus forward, your past will not dictate your future.

I have small children, can I still build a business?

I have three sons who were 5, 3, and 3 (yes, twins!) when I started my business. I'm a testimonial for being able to build a business part-time around an active family. I am able to work around my family's schedule and find a nice balance between family and business.

This business allows the whole family to get involved if they want to. My kids are the "Chief Scent Smellers, Product Labelers, and Scent Sample Makers"! They help sort products and stuff and stamp envelopes. They even help sell candles. There's a race to the door on the day our Candle of the Month arrives to be the first to smell the new scent!
