A Little About Me and Why

Hi! My name is Linda Miller.
I am a mom, wife and a home-based
business owner. I live in central New
Jersey with my husband, Dean, and
our three wonderful sons. Thanks to
my decision to get involved with this
business, I now have the best of both
worlds. I get to be at home with my
children and have the personal
satisfaction and monetary rewards
from owning and growing my own business.
I worked for many years in financial and operations planning and analysis positions for large corporations. When I returned to my corporate job on a "part-time" basis after my first son, Brett, was born, I found that the hours and the stress weren't so "part-time" but the pay certainly was! Dean and I made the decision that I would stay home...And that inevitably would have been where I landed anyway since shortly after I became pregnant with twins!!!
I consider myself blessed to be able to stay home with my children, but along the way I have missed some of the things that go along with working outside the home. I set out to find a way to work part-time, earn a good income, and have a balanced life. I turned back to the corporate world to do this and with every interview felt the dread of knowing I would no longer have control over my time, the work probably wouldn't be much fun, and I'd have very little control over what I could earn. I wondered if the trade off was going to be worth a little extra income.
So I started thinking about what I could do from home. I researched many home business opportunities in an effort to find something that was relatively simple so it could truly be done on a part-time basis, something that could be done at least in part on the internet so I could actually be home with my children, and something that would be fun and generate a great income for the time and effort I put into it. I also looked for a growing industry, a recession-proof product, and a company that provided training and a low start-up cost.
After investigating a lot of things, I found a well-established company with an opportunity that works well for me and my family and that's what is presented here on my website. With this company, I found everything I was looking for...a great product, a proven system for earning income on-line and off-line, remarkable training and support, a low start-up cost, something that's fun and exciting to do, and, best of all, the freedom to choose how I spend my time!
I will tell you that when I first came upon this opportunity my first thoughts were "Not for me, I don't want to do the home party thing" and "I love candles, but is there really a market and a way to profit with them?". Well, once I educated myself on the $3 billion and growing candle industry, how many people use candles regularly, and the different ways this company provides to earn money (i.e. I don't have to do home parties if I don't want to!), I realized that my future was right under my nose in that great smelling "soot-free" candle I had burning in my family room!
